The Future of Successful Healthcare
Under the ProCure21 process, we offer an innovative procurement solution with time and cost certainty far earlier than was ever possible under the traditional route.
Our primary focus is on delivering complete capital solutions for the NHS by bringing together our approach on partnering, supply chain management and adding value through value management, value engineering and innovation. The partnering programme not only removes duplication of effort in the tendering process but also brings truly matchless performance levels, better value for money and improved clinical facilities for patients.
A Principal Supply Chain Partner under NHS ProCure21
Since the ProCure21 partnering initiative was launched in 2002, we have been a major player as a Principal Supply Chain Partner (PSCP) with NHS Estates, demonstrating the strength of our supply chain and ability to deliver healthcare facilities on time and to budget. We have now been appointed to the national framework, delivering projects with our supply chain partners under a five-year agreement that is expected to total some £7 billion. Our orders total over £274 million.
Interserve along with our supply-chain partners AEDAS, Amec Building Services, Arup, Capita Property, Fitzpatrick, Healthcare Environments, HLM Design and Strategic Healthcare Planning are working closely with the Trusts and leading academics to highlight critical value-management issues, achieve value-for-money solutions and functionality. For example, we achieved cost savings in the order of some 14% (£3m) - without affecting functionality - on the Withington Community Hospital project.
